Greetings!

What should I devote my first post on my second blog to? That's right, I created my first blog the same day I created this one. A few days before that, I was invited to serve as a contributing author on another blog.

So what's going on here?

Well, I have diverse interests and am passionately involved in political activism. I'm also a web designer. That means I have websites, business interests and poiltical campaigns to promote. I also enjoy disscussing my ideas with people. As a bonus, I sometimes discuss their ideas too!

In case you haven't guessed, I'm also anxious to learn about blogs. Think of this is a crash course.

In fact, I haven't yet decided WHAT this blog is going to be. Shall I restrict it to politics, or shall I make it a general audience blog where politics is verboten? How about both?

One possibility is to just open the barn doors on both my blogs and see where they lead me. After I've learned a little more about blogging, I might create a new blog on one of my websites.

But enough babbling about that. Who am I, and WHAT am I?

I was born in West Dakota, spent four years in the Navy, studied ecology at Western Washington University in Bellingham, then worked as a wildlife biologist in Alaska for several years. I moved to Seattle to study aviation but wound up working as a school teacher - for sixteen years.

My experiences in the bowels of one of America's most corporatized cities transformed me into a political activist. With my interest in web design, it was only natural that I begin speaking out on the Internet.

If you want to know more about me, please visit www.david-blomstrom.org. I know, it sounds arrogant, but remember - I'm the webmaster of several websites, and I'm running for public office. I felt it important to the public something about myself.

My general audience websites are based at www.geobop.org.

And that's it for now. Please bear with me as I learn how to operate this thing. :)

David Blomstrom

What do you think of Hugo Chavez?

Should Hugo Chavez attack Bill Gates the way he attacks George W. Bush?
